The region's most unspoilt, natural paradise.This dramatic island is rich with steep volcanic mountains, deep gorges, dense tropical rainforest, rivers, waterfalls, wildlife, and the friendliest, most generous, and passionately patriotic people of all the places we've been to.It is also known as "The fruitbowl of the Caribbean" ... yumm. We ended up staying here a lot longer than we planned to ... and wished we never had to leave.
